Our Mission
Founded in 1955, the museum is dedicated to promoting art, culture, and knowledge. We offer free exhibitions, concerts, lectures, and educational programmes throughout the year, making culture accessible to everyone.
Our Spaces
Our facilities include six exhibition galleries, a 350-seat auditorium, a specialized library, conservation studios, and a sculpture garden. The building, designed by renowned architect Jose Luis Fernandez del Amo, is itself a work of architectural significance.
The Collection
Our permanent collection comprises over 12,500 works spanning from the 15th century to the present day, with particular strength in modern and contemporary Spanish art, European photography, and international sculpture.
